WE GROUP / YOUR GUEST EXPERIENCE
Bring your people together, without leaving the hotel details to chance.
WE Group helps destination-wedding couples explore accommodation options for themselves and their guests in Cancun, Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya. The goal is to align where everyone stays with the wedding venue, celebration schedule, travel needs and budget.
Room blocks and group arrangements are options to evaluate with the selected hotel, not guaranteed discounts or automatic inclusions in wedding planning.
A room block is an arrangement with a hotel for a specified group of rooms, dates and booking conditions. It can help organize guest accommodation, but the contract determines the rates, deadlines, deposit requirements, available categories and responsibility for rooms not booked.
Ask whether the arrangement is a courtesy hold or creates a financial commitment. Do not assume a guest’s reservation counts toward your wedding group simply because it is at the same property: confirm the booking channel and identification process with the hotel.
Three separate decisions: where guests stay, what their room rate includes, and what the private wedding events include. A room-only, half-board or all-inclusive stay does not by itself establish the services included in a wedding reception.
People. Estimate couples, solo travelers, families and anyone who needs accessible accommodation. Ask about required features, not just whether a room is described as accessible.
Dates. Separate the core wedding nights from optional early arrivals, extended stays and honeymoon nights. Share confirmed event dates before guests make nonrefundable arrangements.
Budget. Agree on a guest accommodation budget independently from the couple’s wedding budget. Compare room occupancy, meal plan, taxes, extra-person charges and cancellation terms on the same basis.
Location. Compare the hotel with the ceremony, reception and other gatherings. Include transportation planning whenever guests will travel between properties.
Ask for the complete written terms before circulating a booking link. We do not promise complimentary rooms, upgrades, special rates or waived fees unless they are confirmed for your group.
Accommodation decisions affect the venue shortlist, the welcome gathering, wedding-day departure times and the farewell plan. WE Group can coordinate these considerations within your destination wedding planning service, with the scope and responsible suppliers defined in your proposal.
Give guests one clear set of instructions: confirmed hotel and dates, authorized booking method, payment and cancellation contacts, event attendance rules and transfer arrangements. Keep sensitive travel documents out of public guest spreadsheets.
Still choosing the destination? Compare Riviera Maya with Playa del Carmen and use our planning checklist to sequence the decisions.
Yes. Accommodation options for the couple and guests are part of the planning needs we can discuss. The selected hotel’s availability and the agreed service scope determine the final arrangement.
No. Compare the complete offer, including occupancy, inclusions, conditions and group commitments. A lower headline rate can represent a different room category or booking policy.
The hotel agreement determines that responsibility. Before signing, clarify room-release deadlines and any liability for unused inventory. Do not assume every group arrangement is risk-free.
That depends on the venue and package. Ask about attendance requirements and access for outside guests before suggesting alternative hotels.
